October is the time of year when Donegal County Council Library Service focus on our young readers through the Wainfest Children’s Arts and Book Festival.
Wainfest will run in libraries, Taobh Tíre centres, the Regional Cultural Centre and the County Museum. Events promise to provide an abundance of fun and creativity with authors, artists, scientists and illustrators who promise to spark the imagination of children across the County. Europe Direct events throughout the programme aim to highlight European issues by providing fun interactive performances of some of the Ireland’s leading performers in history, storytelling and music. All events are free of charge, so why not celebrate with us and join the party!

The Donegal & Gaeltacht Europe Direct Information Centre is co-funded by Donegal County Council and the European Union.
