The Wild Atlantic Week is celebrating the Community of Ardara and its people. We will welcome home the many diaspora from all over the World to join us for the week long festivities.
Ardara is situated in South West Donegal and is popular with tourists for its friendly atmosphere, scenery, and thriving traditional Music scene. The lively Heritage Town is nestled in the bosom of the Bluestack Mountains. The area is also rich in folklore and archaelogy, home of handwoven tweed, angling, historical landmarks and a wide range of countryside and coastal walks to choose from and quiet roads throughout the area make sightseeing a pleasure for the motorist, cyclist or hiker. Narin and Portnoo is closeby which offers a 19 hole Golf Course, sandy beaches, canoeing and pitch and putt to name but a few.
